UK NEWS: Princess Beatrice, the daughter of Prince Andrew, snaps photos of her private wedding

Buckingham Palace has released photos at private weddings of Princess Beatrice in the UK, who married architect Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on Friday at a ceremony at Windsor Castle attended by Queen Elizabeth II.

British Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip stood next to Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi outside the Royal Chapel of All Saints at the Royal Lodge, Windsor, England, after their wedding. Beatrice, the ninth to enthroned Britain and granddaughter of Queen and Prince Philip, Governor of Edinburgh, descended on the ways of his father, Prince Andrew, at Buckingham Palace in a statement on Saturday.

Beatrice and Mapelli Mozzi have been together since last September but the coronavirus epidemic disrupted the first day of the wedding on May 29. Mapelli Mozzi suggested the couple spend the weekend in Italy last year.Buckingham Palace said the bride’s dress was borrowed from her grandmother.

Buckingham Palace said the bride’s dress was borrowed from her grandmother. Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York, wore many items borrowed from the Queen on the big day, including an ivory beaded dress, pulled by an elephant by Norman Hartnell, which was remodeled allowed. The princess was adorned with a tiara of diamond fringe, which she had borrowed from Queen Elizabeth, and was worn by the king himself on her wedding day. The trinket was first made in 1919 from a diamond necklace donated by Queen Victoria, according to a statement from the palace.

“The couple decided to keep the small private event with their parents and siblings after their wedding was postponed in May. Working according to government guidelines, the service was in a different light as they allowed them to celebrate their wedding with their closest family,” the palace said in a statement on Saturday. Prince Andrew is facing a re-examination of his relationship with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein following the arrest of Epstein’s suspect, Ghislaine Maxwell, by the FBI, and allegations against one of his co-accused, Virginia Roberts Giuffre. Giuffre suspects she was forced to have sex with the prince and other men while having sex with him. They all denied the allegations.

Earlier on Friday it emerged that Andrew’s official website had been removed from the internet.
Prince Andrew was Epstein’s friend and had been photographed with Giuffre and Maxwell before. In a BBC interview in November, Prince Andrew said he had never met Giuffre and suggested that his image with Giuffre might not have been taught.

Mapelli Mozzi, who has a 2-year-old son from a previous relationship, is a wealthy businessman, reports the BBC. According to Companies House, he is a director of real estate company and Banda Property.
