The role

As a Client Service Advocate in our office in Dubai you will maintain strong Client and Reinsurer relationships for assigned accounts to ensure the appropriate level of service is provided to all Clients within your area of responsibility. You will be responsible for individual account management and coordination of global post placement services delivered to Clients. You have a full understanding of Client’s service requirements from placement of the business through to collection and settlement of claims, efficiently liaising with internal parties.Your responsibilities will include the following amongst further duties: You will be …

  • Responsible for ensuring premiums and pro rata treaty accounts are invoiced and settled in accordance with contract terms, liaising with Ipswich as necessary
  • Responsible for ensuring claims and pro rata cash calls have been processed and available for settlement to the Client as soon as possible, liaising with Ipswich as necessary
  • Prepare and present materials for Clients and Reinsurers as respects service delivery and account management
  • Work closely with broking team to ensure they are kept apprised of issues and developing situations are escalated as necessary
  • Act as a point of contact to Client, Broker, Market and Management for assigned accounts
  • Coordinatesand attend regular client visits/meetings to ensure Client satisfaction and to gain an understanding of Clients business and operating environment
  • Responsible for providing MI reports and/or spreadsheet analysis, as required by the Client and Broker

The Requirements

  • You have 3-5 years relevant experience in the reinsurance business
  • You have a proven ability to understand and meet a client’s needs
  • Your oral and written communication skills in English are strong whether you are communicating one-on-one or to a group
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills keep you ahead of your schedule and workload
  • You are professional, reliable and able to work autonomously with minimal guidance
