We all try to avoid thirst, but what about the excess?
Drinking a glass of water starts in the morning, take a bottle of water on the street and often fill your glass at work. We all do it because we know that drinking enough water is important. But did you know that there is also such a thing as overweight?
The results are not pleasant.
There are many people who have trouble drinking enough water every day. On the other hand, there are also hot drinkers who can replace glass after glass. We are often told that we must make sure that we drink enough water. Aren’t you part of a group of active drinkers? Then it is important to make sure you drink enough. Let’s start with a few tips for people who don’t drink enough water a day before we go too far:
- Start your day with a glass of water.
- Use the mobile app to track your water intake.
- Give your water a taste that makes it great to drink.
- Drink it in a bottle and put it in your watch line.
- Eat more fruits that contain water.
But, as we have seen, there is also such a thing as drinking plenty of water. People who are prone to overeating often need the opposite advice.
In most cases the advice regarding water is that you should drink between two and three liters a day. This can also be tea or soda – it’s about your regular liquid food. Do you drink less? After that you can become dehydrated and you may get bad skin, headaches and other bad symptoms. Do you think you drink more than three liters of water a day? That’s not a big deal; your body can still hold it.
Problems arise when you drink more than eight gallons [8 L] a day. Your kidneys cannot handle this much water and you could end up getting drunk. This happens when the balance between sodium and water in your blood is severely compromised.
Excessive physical activity
You have to go for a nice nut in the water to get a real water drink, but that doesn’t mean you can’t overflow. If you drink too much water or other liquids, your body will react to too much water. If so, you may find the following symptoms:
- Low blood pressure
- Low power
- Muscle weakness
- Muscle cramps
- Bad mood
