Kim Kardashian who is an American social actress and TV personality stole the brightness of the red carpet Met Gala 2021 in complete disguise. Yes, you read that right. On Tuesday, the star arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City with designer Demna Gvasalia wearing Balenciaga cloth on her face.
Kim’s outfit became the talk of the town and she was immediately named one of her 2021 jewelry brands. She walked with the red carpet covering her face in a black and black band all joined by a ponytail and heels.
According to TMZ, Kim is encouraged to wear Balenciaga’s bright and bizarre look of Kanye West. Several sources told the store, “She (Khan) has given Kim the courage to push the envelope with art and human ideas with art.”
Kim’s look was designed by Demna Gvasalia, the current art director of the Paris-based Balenciaga label and founder of Vetements. Her outfit Met Gala received mixed reactions from network broadcasters.
Kim Kardashian’s Balenciaga haute couture dress featured a body wrap with a mask similar to a train. Her look is unlike anything Kardashian or anyone else has ever worn on Met before. A long ponytail, opera gloves, and a sweep train add to the subtle vibe.
This year’s theme for the Met Gala was In America: A Lexicon of Fashion. The Met Gala has been delayed since its scheduled date on the first Monday in May after last year’s show was canceled due to the Covid-19 epidemic. To ensure that Covid’s guidelines were followed, visitors were asked to provide proof of vaccination and to wear masks at all times, except when drinking and eating.
