KARACHI: On Tuesday a Bomb Disposal Group detonated a magnetic field, which they attached to a car, near the Bilawal Chowrangi area of Karachi.
BDS was called after a suspicious vehicle was spotted driving in an area near Bilawal House.
SSP Zubair Nazir said an area of 200 meters was fenced off and people were evacuated while BDS inspected a car full of explosives.
Sindh police said the two occupants of the car were detained in an undisclosed location. The car and the suspects were not a local restaurant.
Further investigations are ongoing.
