PAKISTAN NEWS: Maryam Nawaz is angry with Prime Minister Imran Khan at the Gilgit-Baltistan summit

SKARDU: PML-N Deputy President Maryam Nawaz on Thursday launched a political campaign that lasted a week before the November 15 election in Gilgit-Baltistan, urging people not to vote for those who are changing their allegiance.

Speaking at a public meeting in Skardu, the PML-N leader said: “I promise you will not vote for those who change their allegiance. Those who set up their party do not deserve your votes.”

Remember this if you are going to vote that those who cannot tolerate pressure, will never stand for civil rights.”

Speaking to Prime Minister Imran, Maryam said: “You have promised” tabdeeli “[change] for nine days. Your promises are false.”

He urged the people of Skardu to send the “sleeping prime minister” home. “He’s about to leave. The final pressure will be put on GB people.”

PML-N election campaign

PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz leads the party’s election campaign in the GB region.

According to The News, Maryam is scheduled to meet with local PML-N leadership and address community gatherings in various GB regions.

A meeting will be held from Shigar to Skardu on November 6 [tomorrow].

During the visit, Maryam will also be briefed on the performance of the PML-N government over the past five years and on development projects in the region.
