Criticizing the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Senator Sirajul Haq on Sunday noted that “those who claim to put the economy on the line should get the price of flour and herbs.”
Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf government has become a hotbed of poverty, says Jamaat-e-Islam chief Senator Sirajul Haq.
Dunya News quoted Haq as saying in a statement on Sunday that those who claimed to be keeping the economy afloat should get the price of flour and chemicals.
He also said millions of people such as workers and street workers were due to rising unemployment.
Haq said from the steel mills to Pakistan Railways and the PIA it has become a respirator and the poor governance, law and order are a gift to the current government, reports Dunya News.
Condemning the deaths of seven COVID-19 patients due to a lack of oxygen cylinders, Haq said the patients died “under the nose of the PTI provincial government”. (ANI)
