Pre-order Motorola Edge S will be live before launch

Motorola has announced that it will be launching the Edge S smartphone on January 26. Prior to its launch, the smartphone has risen to reserve in China.

The Motorola Edge S is listed on for consumers interested in booking it first. There is no smartphone image but the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset is highlighted in teasers. Qualcomm’s latest chipset and Motorola Edge S will be the first smartphone to launch with a processor. The smartphone launch is scheduled to take place on January 26 at 7:30 pm CST which is 5:00 pm IST for Indian viewers.

In addition to the Snapdragon 870 processor, the Motorola Edge S is expected to feature a full 6.7-inch HD + display at a so-called 105Hz rating. The smartphone will offer up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Motorola Edge S is also rumored to be packing a 5,000mAh battery.

Leak images of what is believed to be a Motorola Edge S show the bright purple color of the ‘Sky’ smartphone. Includes a quad camera setback in the back where there will be a 64-megapixel main sensor with zoom. The smartphone will also include two selfie cameras that can include a 16-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel second sensor. The Motorola Edge S also has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side.

The smartphone had previously been rumored to be a Motorola Nio but was reportedly a Motorola Edge S. It is said to come with another ‘Beryl’ color option. The start date is only a few days before we will know the official details of the Motorola Edge S.
