Samsung Galaxy A72 to include 64MP main camera

The Samsung Galaxy A72 will play a camera setup with a 64-megapixel main camera. The phone is expected to open in January.

Samsung’s next Samsung A-series smartphone could be the Galaxy A72. This smartphone has been spotted leaking and reports many times now. Recent leaks suggest the Galaxy A72 will feature a quad camera setup with a 64-megapixel main camera.

The Galaxy A72 had previously rumored that it would include a pencil camera setup, making it the first of its kind for Samsung phones. But rumors appear to be untrue, with the Galaxy A72 having four rear cameras, according to a Glass Club report. Along with the main 64-megapixel sensor will be a 12-megapixel wide angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor.

The report added that the Galaxy A72 will be offered in 4G and 5G variants. The leaked smartphone feature features a punch-hole camera, as well as glass back and aluminum frame. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille at the bottom. The Galaxy A72 is also expected to feature a 6.7-inch flat display.

Samsung is developing other smartphones for the Galaxy A-series, and this includes the Galaxy A32 and Galaxy A52. Both of these smartphones are also said to come with 5G support. Samsung will likely launch the new Galaxy A-series smartphones in January if we go with its standard version. Samsung has the launch of the Galaxy S21 series scheduled for January 14. The flagship series will feature the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Looks like we’ll see new Samsung phones in a few weeks.
