Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has confirmed getting S-Pen support

In addition to S-Pen support, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will also include Hover support.

Samsung has been promised that it will launch its Galaxy S21 series in January 2021. Prior to its official launch, several reports indicated that the Galaxy S21 Ultra has received S-Pen feather support. Now, a new report has confirmed that S-Pen support really does come on the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with model number SMG998B has been spotted on the website of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The listing reveals that the top variants of the Galaxy S21 series will come with S-Pen support. In addition, the phone will also install Hover support. This feature will enable users to hold the S-Pen pen above the phone display without touching for various purposes such as pre-screening content.

“EUT can also be used with a writing tool (S-PEN). EUT works with S-PEN in two different ways to integrate S-PEN (Hover and Click) motion detection operating at a frequency of 0.53-0.6MHz. The EUT was expected to continue to refer to S-PEN in both directions, ”said a FCC list.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the Galaxy S21 Ultra has got a 6.8-inch display with a pixel density of 515ppi, 20: 9 factor ratio and 120Hz bandwidth. Expected to be powered by Exynos 2100 processor and running on Android 11-based OneUI 3.1 OS.

Apart from this, the phone is expected to come with a 108MP main sensor, two 10MP cameras with zoom capability and a 12MP one-wide-angle sensor. It also features a 40MP selfie camera.
