Samsung is launching a premium version of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in China

The Samsung W21 5G comes with a long display, gold back color and benefits such as concierge services.

Samsung has unveiled a new version of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in China with a new name, and a slightly longer body. It is called the Samsung W21 5G and is exactly the same as the standard Galaxy Z Fold 2 but with a slight difference.

Ismartable Samsung W21 5G foldable is priced at 19,999 CNY (₹ 2.23 lakh approx) in China. The smartphone comes in gold with an exterior design design. Available for pre-orders in China via Samsung online store. Samsung has partnered with China Telecom with the W21 5G smartphone which offers dual SIM support. It has dual SIM space unlike the Galaxy Z Fold 2 where one is eSIM.

The screen sizes are similar but the Samsung W21 has a slightly longer body. The smartphone is also powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865+ chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Like the Galaxy Z Fold 2, this one also has a triple camera setup with three 12-megapixel sensors. It has a 10-megapixel front camera, and a 10-megapixel cover camera. The Samsung W21 also features a 4,500mAh battery with 25W cable support and 11W wireless. Many features on the Samsung W21 include a built-in fingerprint sensor, 5G, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port.

Samsung also sells Glass Z Fold 2 in China for a low price of CNY 17,000 (₹ 1.89 lakh approx). The Samsung W21 5G is said to come with benefits such as concierge services.
