Sobhita Dhulipala, a Instagram fan, OTT screen sensor and now H&M campaign star, has worn a few white outfits (of mixed and sequential) only a few times. In fact, he was counting on his hands. But with his new role as one of the facets of H&M’s ‘Brighter Than Ever’ campaign, the Municipality came in with one, and in a real epic style, put us down with the luxury of sneakers.
In the last six months there have been changes in the world. Most of us are still adapting to the new world of changing laws and, more important, changing cabinets. While this year’s holiday season is expected to be a low-key one, the good news is that your style doesn’t have to be this way. The Municipality tells us that the last half of the year, full of celebrations, is a spark of hope in times of crisis.
It is always expected of H&M drops. Tell us more about how partnerships work.
H&M is popular all over the world for its versatility and ability to interact with different ages, feelings and cultures. And this campaign is particularly engaging. I love how simple yet powerful its ‘Brighter Than Ever’ motto is. Clothes show new trends in their art.
In these times, are some clothes more attractive than others?
I achieve comfort and longing to rejuvenate my emotions. The styles that I rely on this Christmas season are healthy, beautiful and fit.
Your style is moving between disagreements and culture. How do you think the campaign demonstrates that?
This campaign reflects my current feelings, which are more hopeful and more realistic. Clothes are personal and kind, fun, and at the same time, let the person shine.
How do you add your favorites?
I remember having to choose between two good pieces. We finished the short shiny dress. The youth of our times requires courage to try what we don’t have, so I wear one. I love the flexibility of H&M collaborative sets, bustier tops, and flowing skirts. I brought sneakers, retro sunglasses, bomber jackets, and red lipstick to the mix.
