The Asus Zenfone 8 mini can feature a 5.92-inch display, SD 888 SoC

Asus ’little iPhone 12 rival may soon see the light of day. Details about the rumored smartphone have also surfaced. Meanwhile, the new leak reveals important details, including screen size.

According to a report by XDA Developers, the Asus’ compact Android smartphone is labeled ‘Sake’. The smartphone is rumored to be coming with a 5.92-inch OLED display. The screen size makes it larger than the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini screen. Asus’s mini rival’s display of the iPhone 12 is said to offer full HD resolution (2,400 x 1080 pixels) up to 120Hz refresh rate.

The report also revealed that a phone with the word ‘Sake’ was seen next to ‘Picasso’ and ‘Vodka’. Phones may be part of the company’s flagship Zenfone 8 series.

In addition to the integrated display, the phone is also said to come with a 64-megapixel main sensor (Sony IMX686) and a new Sony IMX663 sensor. Leaks continued that the phone will come with a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor.

Interestingly, Sony also has rumors that it works on a compact Android smartphone. Recent rumors suggest that Sony’s iPhone 12 mini-equivalent will launch it as a fan of Xperia Ace.

As long as Android colleagues like Asus and Sony are working on a combined phone, Apple is reportedly fighting the iPhone 12 mini. According to a report earlier this month, Apple requested one of its offers to stop the production of parts with minor variations. The report also revealed that Apple was planning to reduce the production of the iPhone 12 by up to 20%. The company may be focusing on something different for the new iPhone line.
