Malnutrition can also affect weight loss
If you want to lose weight, the key to success is to use a few calories. However too little food can have a different effect over time and can disrupt your weight loss process.
Eating too little and eating too few calories can lead to weight gain.
If you eat a sufficient amount of food, your body will use up all your energy as fuel. That means your body needs calories to be able to burn calories. Your metabolism is stimulated and weight loss is possible. If you do not use enough calories, however, your body will switch to energy saving mode. This makes it harder to lose weight because your body wants to keep everything you get.
In other words, it is important to find a good balance. To lose weight, you will need to make sure you do not exceed the limit of the minimum calorie intake. If you jump, you may not be able to lose weight or you may gain weight instead. Not sure if you get enough calories? We have made a list of six signs that will tell you.
- You can only think of food
After all, you are thinking about a lot of food and you may need to stop from time to time so that you do not have to think. But if you don’t think about anything but food all day, you never give up and it turns out a little bit of anxiety, it’s time to eat some food.
- Skip food
You probably think that skipping meals is the easiest way to make sure you use fewer calories, but in reality it has the opposite effect. By not eating breakfast, lunch or dinner, you turn off your body’s fire engine.
- You always have a headache
Does it sound like your head is spinning and you are shivering and dizzy? Then your brain does not get enough glucose. This means that blood sugar levels are very low, causing all sorts of physical problems. So, have something to eat before getting a painkiller.
- The thought of exercising makes you feel tired
Do you really like it when you think about doing a job? Are you always tired and have trouble concentrating? Because you do not provide enough fuel for your body, you are basically only focusing on survival – this means you have no energy left for anything else.
- You are very angry
If you do not eat enough, your emotions can be very bad. It has even been scientifically proven that calorie deficiency can lead to anger and frustration.
- You have eaten but you are still hungry
Have you eaten your dinner but are you still hungry after that? Then you never eat enough calories and nutrients. This does not mean that you need to eat too much, but it does mean that what you eat should be of a better quality. So, in the future, choose whole grain, protein, and healthy fats instead of salads, which contain less.
