UAE NEWS: 24,747 Covid vaccines administered within 24 hours

Events and exhibitions in the country are only open to fully vaccinated residents.

The UAE provided 24,747 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in the last 24 hours.

The country’s Department of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said the total number of deliveries now stands at 17.13 million.

This takes the average dose to 173.28 per 100 people.

Events and exhibitions in the UAE are only open to citizens who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, it was announced on Sunday. It should not be more than six months since the second dose was given.

Scientists have discovered human antibodies that can reduce many coronaviruses and pave the way for a pan-coronavirus vaccine, the Church said.

The antibodies have been found in some people who have recovered from Covid-19, the team said at the University of Washington.
