Advit Golechha has secured a place in the India Book of Records.
The three-year-old Abu Dhabi resident is the smallest in the world to identify 195 countries and their titles by their flags. Advit Golechha has secured a place in the India Book of Records.
Advit had only been to one-month sports school when educational institutions across the country were closed as a means of preventing the spread of Covid-19.
Her mother, Shweta, said: “When I was living at home, I started showing pictures of my family members. We have a big family at home. He was able to identify everyone and learned quickly.
“Then I started teaching him the names of cars and he would be able to identify 40 types of cars. Then I passed on to such famous personalities as High Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Governor of Dubai; Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan; Cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli; artists Lata Mangeshkar and Justin Bieber; and many others. Soon he picked up that again. ”
The Indian expat from Hyderabad then introduced the continents and countries to the baby. “The whole process took about three months, but it was worth it. I had to be patient sometime as his attention span could only last 15 minutes at a time and he refused to concentrate.
“I also started looking at record books without wearing a time cap while I was on the list. Toddlers tend to do things at their own pace, luckily I found the India Book of Records. ”
The lawyer, who now owns a proud certificate, medal, badge, and gold pen, smiles broadly every time someone congratulates him.
“She doesn’t understand what she has achieved, but she loves the pen especially and laughs from ear to ear whenever one wishes her for her accomplishments,” added Shweta.
Earlier, five-year-old Praanvi Gupta from Dubai had secured a place in the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records for his ability to list 195 UN-recognized countries and their titles in 4 minutes and 23 seconds.
