The team developed about 12 lung transplants for Covid-19 injured patients.

Sunil noted: “In the first phase, we will focus on building a heart and lung transplant infrastructure. Shortly, we will be strengthening our implant center and opening it directly to patients in need. ”

Dr. Attawar added: “We will be supporting Burjeel Medical City by expanding our expertise in the installation of multiple connectors. Our team at KIMS recently performed double Covid implantation in Hyderabad and successfully conducted other rehabilitation cases. We strongly believe and look forward to working with patients in the UAE through this partnership and translating this opportunity for the benefit of the entire health sector in the Middle East. ”
