UAE NEWS: Coronavirus UAE reports 1,230 cases of Covid-19, 1,386 found, 6 dead

More than 20 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the UAE so far.

The UAE Department of Health and Safety on Friday reported 1,230 cases of Covid-19 coronavirus, as well as 1,386 recurrences.

Six deaths were also reported.

A total of 143,901 new Covid-19 tests were performed, taking the total number of tests performed in the country to 20 million to date.

Meanwhile, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has gained international recognition for being “inspired” in its Covid-19 response plans.

The official was honored by the International Hospital Federation (IHF) under the ‘Beyond the Call of Duty for Covid-19 Program’ for its “fast and fresh” program during the epidemic.

On Friday, the world celebrated Christmas by hundreds of millions under the coronavirus limits celebrating a separate version of the holiday that is often marked by travel and large gatherings.

The US is the latest country to announce new travel restrictions due to new strains of coronavirus spreading in Britain and elsewhere.
