The Indian government has reviewed the current guidelines for international migration as the global trajectory of Covid-19 continues to decline with increasing global availability of vaccines.

According to a new order issued on Thursday, all travelers must submit an online reporting form to the Air Suvidha port before scheduled departure, upload a negative report of Covid-19 RT-PCR (made more than 72 hours before departure), and send a declaration regarding the authenticity of the report. Passengers will be liable to criminal prosecution if reports are received otherwise.

During the Covid-19 weekly forum, Dr Taher Al Amiri, spokesperson for NCEMA, said the strength of such events should be 80 percent, as long as the attendance was not more than 60 people. This was added to more than a dozen hospitality service providers during the events.
