UAE NEWS: Covid-19 UAE vaccine The UAQ governor gets a jab

UAQ Governor received the first two doses of vaccination on Sunday.


His senior Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Member of the Supreme Council and Governor of Umm Al Quwain, received the first vaccination dose of Covid-19.

A photo posted on social media on Sunday shows Director Umm Al Quwain receiving the jab. The vaccine is administered in two doses, with a gap of 21-28 days.

Sheikh Saud is the second Governor in the UAE to get a jab. His senior Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Governor of Dubai, received the vaccine in November last year.

Covid-19 drugs are available free of charge across the country.
