More than 20 million vaccines have been transferred so far in the UAE
The UAE provided 69,082 doses of Covid-19 vaccine in the last 24 hours.
The country’s Department of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said the total volume delivered was now 20.1 million.
This takes the average dose to 203.44 per 100 people.
Russia on Friday reported a high rate of coronavirus deaths on the fourth day as the disease continues to rise.
A government census reported that 887 people had died in the past 24 hours. At the same time there were 24,522 new cases – the highest number since July.
The new figure brings the total death toll from Covid-19 to 208,142 – the largest in Europe. The fifth most affected country in the world with more than 7.5 million infections, Russia has seen cases increase since August as vaccinations are suspended.
Meanwhile, India has infected 26,727 new coronavirus cases with a total Covid-19 cases to 33,766,707, while active cases have declined to 275,224, the lowest for 196 days, according to Department of Health data. Union renewed Friday.
The death toll rose to 448,339 and 277 new deaths, according to data updated at 8am.
Active cases accounted for 0.82 percent of total infections, the lowest since March 2020, and the national recovery rate of Covid-19 was recorded at 97.86 percent, the highest figure since March 2020, the department said.
A decrease of 1,796 cases was recorded in the active Covid-19 text within 24 hours.
