UAE NEWS: Despite the UAE agreement, Kuwait’s position on Israel is unwavering in support of the Palestinian cause

The state of Israel and the UAE announced an agreement on Thursday that will lead to the full confirmation of political relations between the two provinces, making the UAE the only Arab country to do so.

Kuwait’s stance towards Israel has not changed since its agreement with the United Arab Emirates and will be the last country to make intelligence possible, al-Qabas newspaper reported on Sunday about Kuwaiti government sources.

The state of Israel and the UAE announced an agreement on Thursday that will lead to the full confirmation of political relations between the two provinces, making the UAE the only Arab country to do so.

A Kuwaiti foreign ministry official could not be reached for comment.

“Kuwaiti’s position is in line with its past years of supporting the cause of the Palestinian cause, as it is a condition of the Arab Prime Minister, and they accept the solution only if it is what the Palestinians accept,” al-Qabas said.

Palestinians reject the Israeli-UAE agreement, while Saudi Arabia and Qatar remain silent.

Independent Gulf states Oman and Bahrain have praised the agreement.
