Dubai: Anyone who shows signs of COVID-19 at a university in Dubai should be disconnected immediately and passed a PCR test, which was recently released in the ‘Protocol for the Reopening of Higher Education Institutions [HEI] in Dubai’ on Monday.
The 118-point agreement, announced by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), states that such a person “should not return to HEI until the results are available. Even if the result is unpleasant and there is a possible clinical trial of COVID-19, that one must be separated for 14 days. ”
In the meantime, the confirmed cases “must not return unless they have been issued with a certificate of consent by the DHA [Dubai Health Authority] ordering them to be removed from the fellowship”.
Monday’s 15-page text follows from the same KHDA circle for the opening of schools announced in July.
