The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, discussing regional problems with King Abdullah II
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed welcomed the Jordan King to his “second home” in the UAE on Wednesday. The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, met with King Abdullah II to discuss efforts to strengthen ties between the two nations.
The two men also emphasized the importance of Arab unity and maintaining dialogue in order to overcome the challenges facing the region.
The King of Jordan is a regular visitor to the Emirates. In July last year, he was greeted by an Emirati patron when he arrived in the capital. He was met at Al Bateen Airport by Sheikh Mohamed at the time.
The King and Jordanian military commanders reunited with Sheikh Mohamed to form a joint force in Al Dhafra in June last year. He also visited the capital last month.
