The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince received a call from King Mohammed VI and the two discussed a number of topics.
His departure from Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the UAE Armed Forces, on Thursday received a call from King Mohammed VI of Morocco, in which he reviewed hopes of further strengthening brotherly relations with the best interests of the two nations and their people.
Sheikh Mohamed and King Mohamed VI discussed during the phone call many issues and topics of common interest and shared views on the latest regional and international developments.
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the American recognition of the monarchy over the Sahara Moroccan and its decision to continue formal relations and diplomatic relations with Israel. He stressed that these positive measures will include a common quest for stability, prosperity and peace in the region.
For his part, the King of Morocco expressed his deep gratitude to Sheikh Mohamed for his true status which supported the Moroccan monarchy on various levels. He reaffirmed his pride in the long-standing relationship between the UAE and the State of Morocco and their determination to increase cooperation in all sectors.
This discussion is accompanied by regular communication and consultation between the two countries’ leadership on various issues and topics for the benefit of all people in the region and its prosperity.
