National Security Adviser finds a team led by Trump adviser Jared Kushner.
Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, on Monday welcomed in Abu Dhabi a joint US-Israeli delegation to visit the UAE and led by Jared Kushner, Senior Adviser to US President Donald Trump.
Sheikh Tahnoun met with the delegation before Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Executive Council, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi High Office, and Chairman of the Executive Committee; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority; and Ali Saeed Matar Al Neyadi, Commissioner for Taxes and Chairman of the Federal Customs Authority.
The team includes US National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien and Meir Ben-Shabbat, a National Security Adviser and the head of the Israeli National Security Council.
The summit also discussed the progress of relations between the UAE and Israel and ways to improve future cooperation in various sectors to benefit both countries and support peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region.
The joint team arrived in the UAE early Monday on an Israeli plane, the first to arrive on international soil since the announcement of a peace agreement between the UAE and Israel.
