Sharjah: The 39th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) will be held from November 4-14 with the title, ‘The World Reads from Sharjah’.
SIBF organizers announced Thursday that this year’s program will be a combination of online and offline programs (face-to-face) “that will bring an unforgettable mix of literary and cultural activities.” “The new version of the exhibition is safe for viewers, and fully adheres to the global health and safety conventions designed to stem the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The SIBF cultural system makes full use of digital format while publishers will be able to show off at the Sharjah Expo Center, so book lovers across the country can continue to enjoy the experience of seeing and buying books this year, ”reads a statement from the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA).
