‘Choice’ of the Department of Social Development talks about the impact of COVID-19 on learning
Dubai: The Department of Social Development has announced the launch of the ‘Kheta’ platform in partnership with ‘Ynmo’ in Saudi Arabia under the auspices of ‘Ibtikar’ Edu Tech Solutions from the new academic year.
The initiative comes as part of a program provided by the department to support volunteers and their families during the COVID-19 epidemic.
The department has also announced that it will begin training all staff members to use the stadium from the beginning of this month in preparation for the new academic year, which will be presented separately as a result of the epidemic.
Kheta is expected to overcome all the challenges of educating and rehabilitating people of determination; and at the same time support their families remotely with the development of easy home-based education and rehabilitation programs.
The platform aims to improve the quality of social services and educational services for decision makers. It seeks to develop and build individual education programs and to rehabilitate them in a timely manner using artificial intelligence skills and to track progress and make decisions based on evidence with little effort.
The services rendered by the department to dedicated people and their families, experts and administrators are in line with the objectives of the national empowerment policy. Steps to demonstrate this partnership between the department and Ynmo began at the beginning with the formation of a team from both sides earlier this year, while workshops were held at various times.
In addition, one staff member of the service center was trained to use the Ynmo platform to evaluate its effectiveness.
Wafa Hamad Bin Sulaiman, Director of the Department of Social Development and Rehabilitation at the Department of Social Development, said the partnership with Ynmo underscored its efforts to achieve the national policy pillars of empowerment.
Saeed Abdullah, Technical Adviser at the Department of Social Development, emphasized the department’s interest in promoting well-being and development through practical solutions and services that promote performance at all levels of services.
Dr Fahad Al Nimri, CEO of Ynmo, said: “The department’s adoption of the Ynmo platform for dedicated people is the most comprehensive solution and the application of international best practices and technologies that contribute to reducing evidence-based support, monitoring and decision-making.”
Wasseem Kadoura, Director of Business Development at Ibtikar Edu Tech Solutions and Partner at the ‘Ynmo’ Platform, said: Thus, the Kheta platform develops this perspective in line with the needs and challenges of the century. ”
