UAE NEWS: UAE Covid daily cases sank to less than 1,000 for the first time in eight months

The Daily Covid-19 cases in the UAE sank to less than 1,000 marks for the first time in nearly eight months. The UAE on Tuesday, August 24, reported 990 cases and 1,675 found.

The last day of felony cases against less than 1,000 cases was on December 27, when 944 cases were reported.

In addition, Covid’s daily exposure was higher than infection since August 9th.

Daily charges dropped slightly in August. The month started with more than 1,500 cases, before reaching less than 1,100 on August 18.

July registered the lowest number of cases this year, ending with just over 47,900 infections – an average of 1,540 daily cases. But August is in line to register low, with just over 1,400 regular daily cases to date.

The UAE’s amazing recovery comes despite Delta’s unique threats and two long holidays – a three-day Hijri New Year weekend and a six-day Eid Al Fitr break.

Covid-19 cases were reduced after the Eid Al Adha break

This is a great achievement, given the fact that daily cases have been caught below just 4,000 marks in a few days this year.

It comes on the heels of a vigorous Covid-19 vaccination campaign, which has seen almost 85 percent of citizens receive at least one dose of life-saving vaccine. About 75 percent of the population is completely vaccinated against the virus.

Antiretroviral drugs in the UAE are provided free of charge. They are available to residents three years of age and older.
