Behind the scenes
Producing a show on a large scale as Union Seed was not a bad thing – especially during the epidemic, Khalfan Al Mazrouei, a member of the organizing committee, told.
“It took 100 conceptualization meetings and another 100s production hours; the only thing that taught us that nothing can stop creativity. Art transcends all boundaries and builds communities – it represents one of the few places in society where people can come together and share information. ”
The product was designed by the team of Emiratis and art director Es Devlin, who is known for creating great visual images and landscapes that incorporate music, language and light.
The show has used the latest digital technology to create a spectacular live show, says Al Mazrouei. It has used carpentry, art installations, video production and more, to present themes inspired by the values and achievements of the UAE. ”
