UK NEWS: New COVID-19 infections in England remain at 50,000 per day – ONS

LONDON – The proportion of people receiving COVID-19 in England remained at about 50,000 a day for the week until November 6, a slight change from the previous weeks, the official estimate said on Friday.

The National Bureau of Statistics estimates that 1 in 85 people had COVID-19 in England last week, a slight increase from 1 in 90 a week ago.
