The passenger was forced off a plane in Florida because he insisted that wearing a red ribbon as a mask was in line with Covid rules, local media reported Thursday.
Adam Jenne, 38, was asked to depart the plane before popping out at city Airport.
He told local news station NBC2 that he wanted to point out the “nonsense” of forcing passengers to wear a mask on planes while allowing them to be removed to eat and drink on the boat.
A video of Wednesday’s incident, shot by another passenger, showed staff informing Jenne that she wouldn’t be able to continue riding if she kept the rope in her face.
After some discussion, he finally left us.
Jenne said she was wearing underwear on her face during the previous flight, and told flight attendants that she was “a mask, do her job.”
United Airlines said in an exceedingly statement that “the customer was clearly not in compliance with the government’s mask authority and thankfully our team handled the matter before leaving, avoiding any potential airborne disruption.”
