US Secretary of State Deb Haaland said on Wednesday he was tested for COVID-19.
“I feel healthy and thankful for the full vaccination and double incentive,” she wrote on Twitter.
Haaland, 61, was accompanied by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, Memorial Day. The interior ministry said he had not yet contacted the president.
Haaland, whose U.S. Department of Land and Water Affairs has been tested for soft tissue symptoms, Interior said in a statement. He was last found missing Monday during a visit to the White House.
Haaland had visited Nevada on Tuesday and had canceled all his trips, his center said.
