Xiaomi Mi Mix has confirmed the launch on March 29

Xiaomi earlier this week announced the launch date for the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra Smartphones. Another smartphone that will launch on the same day is Mi Mix. The event is scheduled for March 29 in China but there will be a live global market event.

The launch of the Mi Mix was announced on Weibo with the tag line “MIX COMING BACK.” This will be the fifth Mi Mi smartphone from Xiaomi. Not much is known about the phone, and the company has not disclosed anything. The upcoming Mi Mix is also rumored to be launching as Xiaomi’s first folding phone. Mi Mix was Xiaomi’s test bed for Smartphones concept so it wouldn’t be a complete surprise if it turned out to be a scalable tool.

We’ve seen some interesting make-up on previous Mi Mix models. In the original Mi Mix and Mi Mix 2, the company installed a selfie camera in the lower right corner of the screen. While in Mi Mix 3, selfie cameras were hidden behind a slider screen. In the Mi Mix Alpha concept, the selfie camera was completely non-existent.

According to leaks and rumors, the Mi Mix is said to be installing a 7-inch display with a renewal rate of 120Hz. The smartphone can be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with a 5,000mAh battery. There are also rumors of installing a triple camera setup with a 108-megapixel main sensor. Mi Mix is also expected to use MIUI 12 out of the box.
